GENERAL INFORMATION

. Two Nations Cup - Rowing Races will be performed on October 23rd in Halic.
. During the race, the voice of the moderator, who will follow the race along with the competing boats, will be broadcasted with a sufficient PA system which will be placed on audience areas, parks, main event zones, VIP areas and press zones.
. VIP Lounge, where the guests can watch the race with a nice view, will be set on the Organization Zone in Balat Park.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

. The race will be performed as a Swindler 8+ race. 
. There will be a moving start point. 
 . Beginning: Galata Bridge, Destination: In front of Balat park
. Course length is 3000 mt.
. Pontoons with a diameter of 3 mt will be placed on each 500 mt.
. The route of the course will be highlighted with the mini pontoons which will be placed on each 125 mt.
. The teams will proceed at the south and north sides of the course during the race line. At the Galata bridge where the race will begin; there will be two different points of ending as North Gate and South gate. The starting point of the teams will be determined by a lot. 
. The teams cannot violate the course during the race. The teams who have violated the course will be disqualified. 
.  The remaining distance will be given on the giant pontoons which will be placed on every 500 mt of the course. 
. Trainer boats of the teams may follow the racers during the race. But, trainer boats may not enter the course; or may not pass the
 opponent boat. In case of such an action, the team will be disqualified.

 

Turkey 8+ Rowing National Team

Ali Nedrettin Sen
Ali Nedrettin Sen (born in 1978, 2.00 m, 105 kg) started rowing in 1993. As a rower, he participated into various international races such as World Rowing Championships, European Rowing Championships. He rowed for the National Team more than 50 times and won numerous Turkish Championships. He is currently coaching Turkish 8+ Rowing Team as well as Fenerbahce Sports Club Rowing Team. 
 

Hasan Tayfun
Hasan Tayfun (born in 1961, 1.63 m, 55 kg) started rowing as a coaxswain in 1974. He has rowed for the National Team more than 50 times and won numerous national and international titles like a gold medal in 2003 in Austria and a bronze medal in the 1979 Balkan Championship.

Onur Arabac?
Onur Arabac? (born in 1991, 1.75 m, 74 kg) started rowing at Fenerbahce Sports Club 9 years ago. He has rowed for the National Team 20 times and participated into a number of international races such as U23 World Rowing Championships, U23 European Rowing Championships. He has become Turkish Champion a number of times. 

Muhammet Cansi
Muhammet Cansi (born in 1991, 1.88 m, 92 kg) started rowing 5 years ago. He has rowed for the National Team 30 times and participated into a number of international races such as U23 World Rowing Championships, U23 European Rowing Championships. He has become Turkish Champion a number of times. 

Selahattin Gursoy
Selahattin Gursoy (born in 1991, 1.82 m, 89 kg) started rowing at Fenerbahce Sports Club 8 years ago. He has rowed for the National Team 30 times and participated into a number of international races such as U23 World Rowing Championships, U23 European Rowing Championships. He has become Turkish Champion a number of times

Onat Kazakl? 
Onat Kazakl? (born in 1993, 1.87 m, 90 kg) started rowing at Fenerbahce Sports Club 7 years ago. He has rowed for the National Team 20 times and participated into a number of international races such as the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games, U23 World Rowing Championships, U23 European Rowing Championships. He has become Turkish Champion a number of times. 

Ogeday Girisken
Ogeday Girisken (born in 1992, 1.90 m, 90 kg) started rowing at Fenerbahce Sports Club 5 years ago. He has rowed for the National Team 20 times and participated into a number of international races such as the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games, U23 World Rowing Championships, U23 European Rowing Championships. He has become Turkish Champion a number of times.

Orhan Tahtac? (born in 1991, 1.87 m, 88 kg) started rowing at Fenerbahce Sports Club 7 years ago. He has rowed for the National Team 10 times and participated into a number of international races such as U23 World Rowing Championships, U23 European Rowing Championships. He has become Turkish Champion a number of times. 

Zafer Gundogdu
Zafer Gundogdu (born in 1991, 1.87 m, 85 kg) started rowing at Fenerbahce Sports Club 7 years ago. He has rowed for the National Team 10 times and participated into a number of international races such as U23 World Rowing Championships, U23 European Rowing Championships. He has become Turkish Champion a number of times.

Ercan Kesim (born in 1991, 1.77 m, 78 kg) started rowing at Fenerbahce Sports Club 7 years ago. He has rowed for the National Team 15 times and participated into a number of international races such as U23 World Rowing Championships, U23 European Rowing Championships.
